I am taking amisulpride tablet since 5 years now I am taking Solian 50 mg since last one year .so recently I have consult my doctor so he advice me to take Solian 50 for another 6 months after that he will decide that I should continue or stopped the Solian 50 but I want stopped the medicine right now so is it possible or is there any side affect arise if I stopped the medicine. please advice or suggest. Moreover I i want to tell you that the bad thoughts which I had earlier have gone. So should I continue or stopped the medicine Solian50.

Dear Swarup, It will be nice if you let me know what was the diagnosis for which you are taking amisulpride (solian is also amisulpride only). If it is for schizophrenia, if you stop it fully, be prepared for a relapse. Relapses will be difficult to treat. So even if you have not got back bad thoughts, please continue Solian 50 for 6 months and consult doctor before stopping.
